Besides a traditional yet modern Montessori curriculum, Monteca International Playschool recognizes the need to ensure that our children are kept up to date with their knowledge in our current world as well.
STEM stands for:
- Science
- Technology
- Engineering
- Mathematics
These are the concepts that makes up the very basis of our physical world we see in the outside-the-classroom environment. Our program will specifically focus towards projects related to these subjects to hone in towards that type of knowledge.
In addition to traditional STEM classes, we have also added elements such as art and cooking towards the program as well. Art can take many forms and we would like to see our children creating masterpieces using concepts such as STEM; whereas Cooking will also allow children to use what they have learned from our STEM class to put into use as well. This course is designed for children from 3-6 years old and 90 minutes per session.
